January 2013


Valerie will be performing in the improv troupe Red Tie Mafia at the Triple Crown in New York City in January.

Valerie and Nick's improv duo performed at the PIT's New Team Lunacy on Thursday nights.

Valerie will be teaching an improv workshop at EAT at the TADA Theater and will also be teaching another improv workshop to high school students at Longwood College in January. 

October/November/December 2012


Valerie performed in the improv troupe Red Tie Mafia at the Triple Crown in New York City in October, November and December.

Valerie filmed a TV pilot with Kauffman Films--it is a cross between Cash Cab meets its Boiling Point in October!

Valerie played the role of the Bride of Frankenstein in William Kozy's comedy Monster Mash with FACT Theater Company at ARTS/NY in October.

Valerie and Nick's improv duo performed at the PIT's New Team Lunacy on Thursday nights.

Valerie taught an improv workshop at EAT at the TADA Theater in December. 

Valerie was the narrator in Ronnie Cohen and Jane Beale's new play, Witnessed by the World, which also starred Broadway legend Tovah Feldshuh, in December.



August/September 2012


Valerie cycled in the 55-mile bike marathon of the Harlem Valley Rail Ride in Upstate New York as a fund-raiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Valerie performed in the improv troupe Red Tie Mafia at the Triple Crown in New York City August and September.

June/July 2012

Valerie played the role of Esther in Searching For a New Sun by Robin Rice Lichtig about children of Holocaust survivors at the Planet Connections Festivity Play Festival in June.

Valerie performed with the improv troupe Red Tie Mafia at the Triple Crown in New York City in June and July.


April/May 2012

Valerie was seen in the new black comedy Mama's Boys by Bill Holland playing Aunt Tessy at the Roy Arias Spring Theater Festival in April.

Valerie performed in the one-act Aphrodite at the ER by Nancy Gall-Clayton playing Aphrodite with FACT Theater Company at ARTS/NY in April.

Valerie performed with the improv troupe Red Tie Mafia at the Triple Crown in New York City in May.


Valerie completed New York City's TD 42-mile bike tour to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's New York City Chapter in May.

Valerie was in charge of press/VIP check-in for the Obie Awards at Webster Hall in May.

January/February/March 2012

Valerie finished up filming the feature-length movie, How I Became that Jewish Guy, by Matthew Cade in the starring role of Maggie in January.

Valerie had a lead role in the short film Beautiful Boy by Joseph Jude Zito playing Mary, directed and filmed by Nancy McClernan (can be seen on YouTube) in February. 


Valerie and Gary Cowling performed in the Emerging Artists Theatre Company's musical comedy benefit with their parody of Grease's "Summer Nights" in February



Valerie performed in the one-act Sammy, Is That You? by James Walczy playing Ann with FACT Theater Company at ARTS/NY in April.

Valerie performed with the improv troupe Red Tie Mafia at the Triple Crown in New York City in February and March.

September/November/December 2011

Valerie will be performing in the new play, Mrs. Ryan of Maspeth Queens, by Vanda in the title role of Jean at the Manhattan Theatre Source in the West Village this September.

Valerie will be performing in her 2nd graduation class at the PIT improv theater in September.

Valerie will perform in the improv troupe Red Tie Mafia at the Triple Crown in New York City in November.

Valerie will reprise her role in Mrs. Ryan of Maspeth Queens at TADA theater in Chelsea in November. 

Valerie will again reprise her role in Mrs. Ryan of Maspeth Queens at the Players Club in Gramercy in December. 

June/July/August 2011

Valerie will perform in the improv troupe Red Tie Mafia at the Triple Crown in New York City in June, July and August.

March/April/May 2011

Valerie will play Janie in Reservations Cancelled by John Zygmunt in the EATfest (Emerging Artists Theatre Company) Spring Theater Festival in March.

Valerie will perform in the improv troupe Red Tie Mafia at the Triple Crown in New York City in April and May.

Valerie will be performing in her PIT (People's Improv Theater) improv graduation class in April in New York City.

Valerie will be cycling in the 42-mile New York City's TD 5-boro bike tour in May.

Valerie will perform in her Upright Citizen's Brigade Improv graduation class at the UCB theater in New York City in October.

Valerie will perform as Grace in the new play Chance Encounters by Michael Jensen in November.

July/August/September 2010

Valerie will perform her original monologue Really? at the Cornelia Cafe in New York City in July.

Valerie will perform her original monologue Never-ever Land at the Cornelia Cafe in New York City in August.

Valerie will star in the short film, Little Does She Know, by Yann-Shan Tsai in the title role of Maria in September.
